IWR promotes stewardship on board the Michigan Princess

Tri-County area residents dined and cruised on the Grand River September, 17, 2015. This event provided a chance to learn about local waters, recent water quality monitoring results, current neighborhood projects and connect with local experts. IWR’s Ruth Kline-Robach presented on efforts in the Red Cedar River Watershed and was joined by various other Pollution Isn’t Pretty partners. Celebrate Our Rivers was a collaboration of: the Eaton, Ingham, and Clinton Conservation Districts, Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, MSU Institute of Water Research, Mid-Michigan Environmental Action Council, Michigan Food and Farming Systems, Michigan Grand River Organization of Watersheds, Rivertown Adventures, and more.
