Busy at the 2015 Great Lakes Restoration Conference

The Institute of Water Research highlighted the “Great Lakes Clean Communities Network” (GLCCN) project, funded by the Great Lakes Protection Fund, at the Healing Our Waters Great Lakes Restoration Conference in Chicago, IL Sept. 28 – Oct. 1. The GLCCN is a free online network for environmental professionals working in the Great Lakes Basin. The Network is a place for practitioners to build new and stronger partnerships, translate innovative ideas into powerful outcomes, and discover game-changing tools and resources. IWR team members Jeremiah Asher and Ken Freestone attended the conference and moderated an issues table to discuss networking in the Great Lakes and frameworks for tracking environmental progress in communities. See live tweets from the conference here. To learn more about the Great Lakes Clean Communities Network, visit www.glccn.org.
