Ingham Community Rain Barrel Project
  • This event has passed.

The Ingham Conservation District will host a Community Rain Barrel Workshop for individuals and groups across Ingham County who manage public gardens or other green space. Learn about water quality issues impacting our local watersheds and how rain barrels can help. Participants will help assemble barrels and then receive one for their location. Barrels must be installed in publicly visible locations to showcase the value of rain barrels and promote water quality. If you have questions about whether you or your organization qualify for this event or if you could make use of more than one barrel, please contact the Ingham Conservation at 517-676-2290 for more information. Space is limited and registration is required. Each rain barrel has been creatively painted by the REACH Art Center in Lansing.
