Meet at the Conservation District and head out in teams to selected waterways to collect macroinvertebrates (aquatic bugs). Volunteers will have the option of getting in the streams with waders and/or sorting bugs on shore. Everything collected will be identified at a separate ID event at MSU. The findings help track the long term health of our local waterways and guide conservation efforts. Please plan to dress for the weather and it is recommended that you bring a container of drinking water. Children 12 and older are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Register Here!
